I was awaken between 2-3am by a voice that said “Hey”. Literally right next to my ear. Sounded like a males voice, but it wasn’t stern or deep. What could this mean?

These are evil spirits bothering you in your sleep and as you awake in a semi lucid state the dreams you were having are intermingling with your awakened state so that remnant’s of the communication that was likely going on all night has leaked over into your waking state. Some people can full on communicate and fight with spirits in their sleep. I have literally woken up arguing with spirits. There is far more going on in our sleep than people realize.

They can sense the left ear, the right ear, a space on the upper right corner, right directly above the mind space centered at the top and outside of the head all together.
